The location is really spot on! Just steps away from local food vendors and a 7-11, making snacking super easy. The common room on the top floor was a chill spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The bedroom was cozy, and the air con was a lifesaver in the heat!

I ran into some issues with housekeeping; my room didn't get cleaned on my first day even after paying the extra charge. Plus, the staff's English varied a lot, making simple requests a bit confusing.

The room was cramped and pretty basic. The bed was rock hard and uncomfortable, and some outlets didn’t work, which made charging my phone a real hassle.

I got great value for my money here, with a super comfy room and an awesome lounge area to relax in after a long day. The location was perfect, right near food vendors and transit options, and the staff were friendly and made me feel right at home.

The room at Roots Chew Hotel was absolutely amazing! It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, like air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a fridge. The shower was fantastic, and the free toiletries were a nice touch. The desk was perfect for getting some work done, and the free WiFi was super fast. I felt like a VIP in this room!

Personally, I didn't really use the balcony in my room. But hey, that's just me!

We had a fantastic stay at Roots Chew in Tainan. the staff at the hotel was incredibly kind and helpful, providing us with valuable local information. the location of the hotel was perfect if you enjoy being in the midst of a bustling area, surrounded by shops, street food stalls, and restaurants. it did get quite noisy until late in the evening, which may be a bit overwhelming for some. the hotel building itself was well-renovated and the facilities were standard. Cons: Nothing, it is perfect! 👍🏼.

The breakfast was amazing and very tasty. The staff were helpful and accommodating for giving local recommendations. The hotel is also in a great location, close to famous restaurants and street food stalls. The room was nicely decorated providing a stylish setting for the stay.

The room was too small to accommodate my family easily, and it was a bit difficult to maneuver without bumping into each other. The price of staying was higher than what I expected and the amenities offered didn't justify the cost.

Had a great xmas stay at this cozy and charming hotel. the staff was super friendly and helpful, always making sure we were comfortable. the location was perfect, surrounded by plenty of shops and street food stalls. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast that was included in our stay. the outdoor terrace provided a great spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. the hot showers and comfortable beds were definitely a plus. We also appreciated the small but useful sitting area in the room. a great experience.

That the hotel seemed understaffed as there was no one at the reception counter when we arrived. We had to wait outside for a bit until someone came to open the door.

This boutique hotel is tucked away in a charming neighborhood with lots of delicious food options within walking distance. the lounge area is beautifully designed and the staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and well-maintained, although it was a bit tight for space. the breakfast options were creative and exceeded our expectations.
